The Right Workout: Finding What Feels Good for Your Body, Mind, and Soul

The Right Workout: Finding What Feels Good for Your Body, Mind, and Soul

There’s so much confusing and conflicting information about what the “right workout” is. But the truth is, the right workout is determined by two key factors: your physical goals and how it makes you feel—body, mind, and soul.

At CORE, we believe workouts should be varied and designed to address multiple physical needs while improving body mechanics and overall awareness. A workout should be results-driven, engaging, and fun—it should make you feel alive.

I created The BODYBYLARA™️ Method to be for everyone. It’s a full-body workout that builds strength, boosts your heart rate, and tones every muscle with dynamic movement sequences that anyone can follow. Using light weights, ankle weights, and a mat, this multidimensional approach focuses on moving through full ranges of motion while prioritizing posture and technique.

As The BODYBYLARA™️ Method grew, I designed a variety of formats to accommodate different body shapes and movement needs.

Legs on Fire

One of these formats is Legs on Fire—a chair-format class inspired by my love for using different modalities to challenge movement. It keeps things interesting while working the body in multiple planes. This class incorporates the best of classic barre but adds level changes, balance and agility challenges, and props like a Pilates ball, resistance bands, and ankle weights.

SPRINGS SCULPT™️

SPRINGS SCULPT™️ combines the best of all worlds: the strengthening effects of Pilates, resistance training using springs and props, the grace of dance, and the functional training we all need to stand and move better.

Strength Training at WEIGHT TRAIN

We all know the importance of strength training, especially as we age—so we go HARDCORE at WEIGHT TRAIN studio. These workouts feature functional training, high-volume interval training, and DYNAMIC STRENGTH, which incorporates bodyweight exercises alongside heavy lifting for muscle building.

The Core Factor: Wellness from the Inside Out

At CORE, we focus on overall wellness—the ability to let loose in the best way. The Core Factor is about the freedom to choose: a slant board, a barre, a pair of weights, or just a mat.

On days when all you need is to listen to upbeat music and break a sweat, our BARRE workouts are your go-to. You’ll SCULPT to the beat, learning fun choreography in an inclusive environment. With Jordan’s incredible energy, you’ll leave feeling empowered and energized.

Because we care deeply about how our clients feel, we schedule “work-in” classes—not just workouts. ASHTANGA with Nik and YIN with Gabrielle are designed to boost lymphatic flow, rejuvenate, and nourish your cellular health.

Which Class Is for You?

That depends: Which one feels good for your body, mind, and soul?

Determine your goals and you are half way there. Find what moves you, challenge yourself, and enjoy the journey.
